ABOUT ME
I’m Tamra Feldman, an independent marketing and consumer insights consultant based in the New York area.
With over 20 years of experience spanning startups to global brands, I specialize in user research that drives real business results. I’ve led studies across consumer and B2B audiences in industries ranging from retail and tech to automotive, finance, travel, beauty, and CPG.
I enjoy and excel at conducting research and turning insights into actionable strategies. My background in digital marketing and product management allows me to collaborate seamlessly with design, development, and product teams—and to craft smart, effective research plans. I'm skilled in a wide range of methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, and especially enjoy moderating focus groups and interviews. I also operate Brightwood Research, which enables me to recruit high-quality participants for research studies.
On a personal note, I currently live in New Jersey with my husband and three sons. I previously spent six years in Brooklyn, nearly a decade in San Francisco, and have proud Midwest roots. I have a degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Prior to consulting, I held full-time roles at Shop It To Me and Gap Inc.
